Mrs. Helen Mozell Wilburn Ross, age 82, a resident of Morton, MS passed away on Monday February 9, 2015 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 12:50 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will be held on Thursday February 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Baptist Cemetery in Stanley, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Tal Vardaman and Rev. Lance Cypert will conduct graveside services. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Ross had lived in Morton, MS for the past 16 years, formerly living in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of the Harvest Time Assembly of God in Baton Rouge, LA. She loved to cook, crochet, go fishing and work puzzles and she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Ross is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Henry Ross, Jr.; parents, Joseph and Evie Lou Wilburn; grandson, Craig Redd; two brothers, Hugh Wilburn, Melvin “Bud” Wilburn; three sisters, Audrey Permenper, Verna Denby, Marjorie Buckley. Mrs. Ross is survived by three daughters, Helen Lewis ( Marshall) of Morton, MS, Karen Ross ( Robert Marcus) of Bushnell, FL, Polly Athey ( Lloyd) of Morton, MS; four sons, Christopher Ross ( Debra) of Morton, MS, Patrick Ross III of Walker, LA, Randy Ross ( Brandy) of Denham Springs, LA, John Ross ( Wendy) of Centreville, MS; one sister, Dorothy “Faye” Spears of Joaquin, TX; fifteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren.
