Wayne C. Miller, 67, died February 6, 2015 at the Sussman House in Rockport. He was born April 20, 1947 in Rockland to George Miller, Jr. and Madeline Sukeforth Miller. Wayne grew up in Washington and attended local schools. Wayne started working with his father in the woods at the age of 13. In the late 1960’s, he worked at the Waldoboro Button Factory. For most of his life, he worked in the woods, hauling and cutting wood. He owned his own business, Miller’s Firewood and Trucking. He was a member of Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge in Washington and St. George Masonic Lodge since 1972. He was truly devoted to his children and family. There was no limit to what he would do for his children. His love was never-ending for his children. He was predeceased by his parents, by a son, Brian Miller and by a brother, Spencer Miller. He is survived by his sons, Jared Miller of Washington Nathan Miller of Waldoboro Wayne A. Miller and his wife Ashley of Washington Daniel Miller and his wife Meagan of Stratton Daughter, Rebecca Miller and her partner Allyson Koenig of Saco Sister, Sharon Cook and her husband Lou of Union Brother, James Miller and his wife Kathy of Union A loyal friend and caregiver, Jeanette Feltis of Somerville Grandchildren, Ethan, Miranda,Jonah,Isabelle, Danica, and Zachary Great granddaughter, Natalie Nephew, Jeff Miller and his wife Vicky of Union Niece, Janelle Miller of Cushing Several great nieces and nephews Wayne’s wishes were to be scattered at his family camp. There will be a family gathering. In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to Mt. Olivet Masonic Lodge, 48 Liberty Road, Washington 04574.
