Michael S. Grabill, 58, Loving Father Michael S. “Moo” Grabill, 58, of Ashland passed away peacefully early Friday morning, January 30, 2015 surrounded by his children after bravely confronting Cancer for the past five years. He was born on April 28, 1956 to Roy Samuel and Janet Louise (nee Farver) Grabill in Ashland. Michael graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1974. He retired as a Union Brick Layer for BAC Local 40 after more than 21 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ashland Eagles Aerie #2178 and Masonic Lodge #0398. Michael was an avid motorcycle rider all of his life. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie. Michael is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Grabill of Columbus; his son, Matthew (Kaitlyn) Grabill of Huron; his mother, Janet Grabill of Ashland; two grandchildren, Trenton and Andre; one expected grandchild in July; and one sister, Lisa Grabill (Michael) Skok of Ashland. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Grabill, who passed away October 27, 2004; and a brother, John Grabill. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center Street, Ashland, OH 44805 with the Reverend Jeff Messner officiating.
