George Baccash, age 89, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Bridgeport Hospital. Born May 26, 1925 in New York City, he was the son of the late Salem and Matilda Jabalee Baccash. A graduate of Stratford High School, he proudly served in the Army during WWII. He owned the BBQ Restaurant in Milford for over 47 years. George is survived by his sister Josephine German and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10:30 am DIRECTLY in St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford. Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Burial will be at the convenience of the family with Military Honors. Donations may be made in George’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project Room 320, 370 7th Avenue, New York, NY 1000.
