Virginia Harloff

Virginia Ann Harloff, age 78 of Ludington passed away on January 23, 2015 at her Home in Ludington. Virginia was born on March 7, 1936 the daughter of the late Frank and Stephanie (Melgies) Holub in Muskegon. She attended Muskegon Catholic High School. On April 27, 1957, at St. Michael Church in Muskegon, Virginia married John Harloff who preceded her in death on October 6, 1992. Virginia spent most of the time being a stay at home mom to her children even though she did work some odd jobs around the community. She really enjoyed having animals such as dogs, and birds. She also enjoyed cooking, reading and crafts such as crochet. Virginia is survived by her children, Michelle (Paul) Hanley, Lisa (William) Thompson and Michael Harloff all of Ludington; grandchildren, Samantha and Kaitlyn Hanley, Jason and (Jessica) Thompson, Tessa Thompson (Eli Andrews), Molli Jones (Dan Eiserman) and great grandchildren Bryce and Gavin Eiserman, Morgan Harloff; sisters, Bernice, Stephanie and Marie; brother, Joe; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Michael, Robert, John and Albert. Funeral services for Virginia A. Harloff will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 4, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home with Father Wayne Wheeler officiating. The family will receive guests for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Virginia’s name may be directed to The Salvation Army or The American Legion.
