Teddy Martin

Mr. Teddy Ray Martin, age 54, of the Stinson Ridge section of Rowe, Virginia, passed away Thursday (January 22, 2015) in Richlands, Virginia. Born April 7, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late Ted and Helen Arwood Martin. He had spent most of his life in Virginia and had formerly been employed as a drywall hanger. He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed camping and fishing. Survivors include two daughters, Stacy Martin of the home and Tiffany Wilson and husband, Cory of Council; one step-daughter, Lisa Vanwagner and husband, Larry of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren, Cadence Wilson, Alaina Wilson, Autum Vanwagner, Lawrence Vanwagner, and Maci Vanwagner; lifelong partner, Cathy Jackson; twin sister, Patty Fay Price of Stinson Ridge; sister, Judy Deskins of Lebanon; two brothers, Billy Martin of Stinson Ridge and Joe Martin of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Sunday at Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Arvil Arwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery on Stinson Ridge, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Teddy Martin Memorial Fund, c/o Honaker Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1620, Honaker, Virginia 24260. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Martin, Bill Martin, David Price, Cory Wilson and Perry Deskins.
