Paul Davis

Paul A. Davis, VI, beloved son, brother, and father, died suddenly on January 6, 2015, at the age of 48. He had been residing in Phoenix, Arizona, since August, 2014, and had previously been a resident of Pittsburgh for over thirty years. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on June 8, 1966, to parents Alice M. and Paul A. Davis, V, Paul was raised in Green Lane and attended local schools. He was a 1984 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School where he was a four-year member of the National Honor Society, a member of the UPHS A-Choir and Uptones Choral Group. He also participated in football, tennis, and wrestling with an outstanding record in addition to being co-captain his senior year. Following his senior season, he was awarded the Kurt Von Hummel award for excellence and dedication to the sport of wrestling. Paul was a 1989 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and was an active member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Following graduation, Paul achieved success in sales with several fortune 500 companies. In addition to his parents, Paul is survived by his former spouse, Nicole Davis; his two children, Nathan and Jessica; his sister, Amy Zyck; and his brother, Evan Davis. Paul was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles, Pitt football and basketball, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was also a life-long member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Hill, Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10:30 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill. Family and friends are welcome to call Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 7-8:30pm at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg and Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 9-10:30am at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made in Paul’s name to an animal rescue or shelter of your choice.
