LEAVER, Lawrence (Larry) Ormond -

Peacefully on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 in his 86th year. Son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, friend, one half of Dum and Mad. Lovingly remembered by wife Velma (nee Davis); daughters Debra and Terri; grandchildren Samantha, Josh, Michael (Janice), Heather, Katie (Paul), Kyle; great-grandchildren Alex and Kayley; sister Mary Ellen (Bob). Pre-deceased by parents, Ernest and Agnes Leaver, and twin sister Barbara. Larry loved fishing, watching TV, music, astronomy, spoonerisms and a good joke. He was best known for his sense of humour and quick wit. Memorial service to be celebrated at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.), on Monday, January 26th at 1:00 pm with visitation from 12:00pm – 1:00 pm in the Chapel.
