Margaret Stover Newhouse, 92, of Hummelstown, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Born in Carlisle on August 2nd, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John Stover and Minerva Shughart. Margaret was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Margaret was retired from Lower Dauphin High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, a son Barry, and a brother Curtis Stover. Margaret is survived by one son, G. Randall Newhouse; six grandchildren, Jerlyn Newhouse, Marsha Newhouse, Brad Newhouse, Jameson Newhouse and wife Dawn, Matthew Newhouse and Todd Newhouse; two great grandchildren, Matthew Black and Annalynn Black, and one great great granddaughter Jaylyn Randall. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in the Hummelstown Cemetery. Viewing will be in the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 210 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
