Anna Lou Sams, age 80, of Erwin, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late William "Bill" and Mabel Ingram Bennett. Mrs. Sams left behind to cherish her memory, two sons, Mark and Travis Bennett; and two daughters, Brenda Blount and husband, Carl and Linda Wilson and husband, Phil; one brother; five sisters; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2014 from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 P. M. Reverend Dallas Gregg will officiate. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Pallbearers will be Gary Hicks, Markie Bennett, Jonathan Silvers, Jimmy Bennett, Phil Wilson and Carl Blount. Committal Service will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
