Medway – Emma Nadine Clark, 89, wife of the late Clyde M. Clark, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at a Millinocket hospital. She was born August 2, 1925 in Millinocket, the daughter of Charles F. and Hilda Emma (Ray) Brown. Nadine grew up in Millinocket and attended Millinocket schools. She was always proud of the fact that during World War II she worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a welder. Nadine belonged to the Elliott Stinson Post #4154, V.F.W. in Millinocket. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a special friend, Anna Smith, who lived with her family and was raised by Nadine’s family until she went to college and now lives in Burlingane, Kanas. In addition to her husband and parents, a sister, Gloria Brown; two brothers, Warren R. Brown and Charles F. “Guffy” Brown, Jr. Graveside services will be held in the springtime at the Millinocket Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, East Millinocket.
