<p>Leslie R. Ransom, Sr., 56, of Phillips St. passed away December 17, 2014. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in New Castle on November 28, 1958, Leslie was the son of the late Owen and Julia Diley Ransom. He is preceded in death by his wife, the former Terri L. Yakubik. </p><p><br></p><p>Leslie had been working as a butcher for meat packing companies. He enjoyed art and loved different types of music. </p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his children, Rachel Knable and her husband Anthony of Medina, OH; Leslie R. Ranson, Jr., Cole L. Ransom, Ronald Druschel and Chiloe Yakubik, all of New Castle; his brother, Leroy Ransom of Wampum, sister, Lori Ransom of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Delainy Knable, Alaina Knable, Alexander Druschel, Aiden Druschel and Kleah Williams. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation is Monday from 2PM to 3PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd followed by services at 3PM. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>Obituary
