Lois Renfro

Lois Ann Renfro, age 73, 397 Norton Hollow Road, Erwin, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, in the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Willard and Lura Vanover Peterson. Mrs. Renfro was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Renfro, in 2003; a daughter, Sandra Jean Lewis; and a sister, Eula Mae Potter. Mrs. Renfro leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons, Jesse Renfro and wife, Melissa of Erwin; David Renfro of Johnson City and Michael Renfro of Unicoi; two brothers, Ronnie Peterson and wife, Angie of Erwin and Kenneth Peterson and wife, Judy of Unicoi; six grandchildren, Brandon Lewis and Dustin Lewis both of Rogersville, Brian Renfro and Brittany Renfro both of Erwin, Amber Renfro of Unicoi and Danielle King of Gray; three great grandchildren, Alexander Smith, Sarah King and McKayla King. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2014, from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Bill Ponder will officiate at the 7:00 P. M. funeral service. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Pallbearers will be Brian Renfro, Dustin Lewis, Austin Bell, Wayne McCauley, Brandon Lewis, Wesley Laws and Josh Gregg. Committal service will be held Friday, December 19, 2014, in the McInturff Cemetery, Erwin, at 1:00 P. M. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 12:30 P. M. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
