NAYLOR, Marlene D. - At Sakura House, Woodstock on Monday December 15, 2014 in her 80th year. Survived by her siblings Iris (Ken) Croft, Donna (Wayne) Tyler, Joan (Glenn) Butcher, Barb (Merv) Osmond, Susan (Lloyd) Hughes, John (Mary) Naylor, Vicki (Bruce) McLeod and Karen (Allen) Griswold. Predeceased by her husband Roly Martel, by her parents Henry and Hazel (nee Crawford) Naylor, by her sisters; Annie Dair, Lois Wilson, Gloria Goodhew, Roxanne Naylor, Wilma Edwards, by her brother Kevin Naylor and is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Marlene was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 139 Hudson as well as the ladies auxiliary Br# 78 Sioux Lookout. Marlene taught Public School for many years in Northwestern Ontario and was an active member in the community of Hudson on Local Road Board and Local Service Board. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday December 18, 2014 from 7-9pm where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday December 19, 2014 at 11am with Pastor Doug Anderson officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, First Baptist Church Woodstock, Accessibility Fund, or the VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
