Petra Ramos Hernandez passed away December 12th, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. Petra was born August 19, 1955 and was 59 years of age at the time of her passing. Viewing is planned from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18th at Anderson's Tribute Center (1401 Belmont Avenue, Hood River, Oregon 97031) and Catholic Funeral Rites on Friday, December 19th Vigil and Rosary starting at 12:00 noon followed by mass at 4:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church (240 Northwest Washington Street, White Salmon, WA 98672). Petra was born in Colima, Mexico to Sabino Ramos and Bonifacia Hernandez. She has been living in White Salmon, Washington and has worked in agriculture in local orchards and for Underwood Fruit Company. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and being with her family. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her five children; Nana de Rosario of White Salmon, WA, Pedro Pablo Sanchez Ramos of Mexico, Yolanda Sanchez of White Salmon, WA, Juan Arturo of Mexico and Maria Guadalupe of Mosier, Oregon; numerous grandchildren whom she loved dearly and other distant family and many, many friends.
