Judy Hennessee

Judy Sells Hennessee, Age 67, of McMinnville, TN, passed peacefully in her sleep from this life Friday, December 12, 2014, at Signature Health Care of Putnam County after a courageous 15 year fight with cancer. She won the race. Judy was born August 18, 1947 in Livingston, TN to the late Fred Sells and Clara Bilbrey Sells. Judy was a school counselor in the Warren County School System for 38 years. She was a graduate of David Lipscomb University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree and then attended Tennessee Technological University where she earned her Master’s degree. She attended East End Church of Christ for 28 years where she was greatly involved with her church family and loved them dearly. She loved all of her friends and extended family greatly and will be missed by all that knew her. Mrs. Hennessee is survived by: Daughter and Son-In-Law: Demetria and Justin Pace of Cookeville, TN Brother: Danny and Wanda Sells of Manchester, TN Nephews: Josh and April Sells of Huntsville, AL Jonathan Sells of Murfreesboro, TN Great-Nephew: Luke Sells of Huntsville, AL Great-Niece: Emma Sells of Huntsville, AL She is preceded in death by: Her Parents. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in McMinnville, TN at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A visitation will also be held Monday from 9 until time of services. Brother Kevin Key will officiate. Interment will be in the Sells Cemetery in the Independence Community of Livingston, TN following services.
