Charles E. Wendel, 61 of Decatur, IN died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Adams Memorial Hospital. Charles was born on September 1, 1953 in Decatur, IN to the late John L. and Leah M. (Richard) Wendel. Charles formerly attended St. Paul United Church of Christ in Rockford, OH. He was engaged in farming and enjoyed truck driving and transporting Amish. He also enjoyed playing cards, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include a brother Jerry Wendel of Celina, OH; three sisters, Karen Wendel, Cheryl Moser both of Berne, IN and Peg (Wenzel) Martin of Bahama Islands; a daughter Heather Hunt and her family. A Memorial Visitation and gathering will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Memorials are to the Family.Obituary
