Doris Hart

Doris D. Hart, 89, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Adams Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 9, 1925 in Adams County, IN to the late Arthur M. and Olive P. (Wagers) DeArmond. On November 15, 1946 she married Gerald H. Hart; he preceded her in death on September 7, 2002. She attended Cornerstone Community Church and worked as a homemaker. Doris is survived by 2 daughters Bonnie (Daniel) Salsburey of Ft. Wayne, IN and Nancy (Robert) Willingham of Corsicana, TX; 4 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great-great grandson. She was also preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014 also at the funeral home with visitation 1 hour prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Pastor Floyd Veith will be officiating. Burial will take place in the Decatur Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
