Kornelis Vording

VORDING, Kornelis - Passed away peacefully at his home, Shalom Manor, Grimsby, with his daughter Jane by his side, on Saturday December 6, 2014 in his 99th year. He is now in heaven with Jesus, singing praise with his wife who predeceased him in 2000. His life was a living testimony to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he was a child of God. Predeceased by his loving wife Jantje (nee Schipper) for 56 years. Loving father of Ralph and Joanne, John and Ineke, Jack, Bill and Catherine, Luke and Cecile and Jane and her late husband Herman House (2011). Cherished grandfather of seventeen grandchildren and spouses, great-grandfather of many great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Lucas and Freda Schipper and Annie Moes. Predeceased by his parents, Roelof and Lutgertje (nee Stevens) Vording, his siblings, Jans Vording and Albertje Oldenwening. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Saturday December 13, 2014 from 10 - 11 am where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Gerald Hogeterp and Pastor Ralph Koops officiating. A private family interment will take place at the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
