Naomi Ruth Keener Bartlett, 76, of Lumberport, passed away at 10:30am, Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born in Clarksburg, August 5, 1938, a daughter of the late Lewis Clark and Virginia Ruth Lindsey Keener. On July 4, 1978, she was married to Carl Aaron Bartlett who preceded her in death on July 4, 2007. Surviving are four daughters, Jenny Hagan and her husband George, Sandra Martin and her husband Dick, Soundra Audia and her husband Jim, Becky Knight and her husband Chris, all of Lumberport, three sons, Buddy Keener and his fiancé, Judy Perry, Howard Keener, all of Lumberport, Lawrence Keener Ganoe and his wife Melissa, Spelter, 16 grandchidren, Joshua and Corey Hagan, Roger “Bub” Carder, Carl and J.D. DelRio, Zac Riggleman, Denita “DD” Whittington, Amber Ann, Sean, Shane, Seth, Joseph, Jordan, and Jenna Keener, Brooke and Desiray Frum, and several great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Jones and her husband Don, Lumberport, Barbara Dewitt, Morgantown, a special cousin, Susie Gallagher Briggs, special niece, Sue Ann Keener Funk, and several other nieces, nephews, and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald “Donnie” Keener. Naomi was a former employee of Anchor Hocking Glass and was a Nurses Aid at the United Hospital Center with over 20 years service. She was a member of the Queen Esther Chapter #11, Order of the Eastern Star, Clarksburg, and attended Jewel City Church, Haywood. She enjoyed going to her camp, gardening, the outdoors, and her dog “Rascal”. Naomi was loved by many and very family oriented. She loved being surrounded by her kids. Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from Noon-8pm, Tuesday where funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday with Pastor Chad Hutson officiating.
