Alfred “Dutch” B. Montague, 98, of Stephens City, VA died Friday December 5, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Montague was born February 12, 1916 in Washington, DC; the son of Roger Williams Montague and Bertha B. Zook Montague. Dutch bravely served for four years in France during WWII as a member of the Signal Corps in the United States Army. He worked as an accountant for Fairfax Auto Parts for approximately 50 years until his retirement in 1996.
He married Margaret Patchell, January 17, 1978 in McLean, VA. Dutch loved to dance, and took his wife dancing every Friday night.
Along with his wife he is survived by two daughters, Nancy Sue Baker of Ellington, MO and Constance Marie Montague of Norfok, VA; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one brother and one grandchild.
