It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence Alfred Mosher, 72, of Rose Bay, Lunenburg County, announces his passing on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Feltzen South, he was a son of the late Irvin and Clara (Wagner) Mosher. Lawrence was a Chief Engineer and was employed on various scallop draggers for Fishery Products International, Riverport. He was a member of Trinity United Church, Riverport. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his loving wife, Stella (Smith) Mosher; step-sons, Ivan (Jill) Carver, Corkum’s Island, Gordon (Cathy) Carver, Hammonds Plains; sister-in-law, Mildred Mosher, Lunenburg, nieces Michelle (Stuart) Gillespie, Rose Bay, Charmaine Smicer (Paul Knock), Five Houses, two grandsons, Joey and Jacob Carver and great-grandson, Royce Carver. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Capt. Sherman Mosher. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. A graveside memorial service to celebrate Lawrence's life will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm, at Shepherd’s Hill Cemetery, Riverport. Rev. Ron Frampton officiating.
