Michael Noyes

Millinocket and Glenburn – Michael David Noyes, “Woody”, 31, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in Millinocket. He was born February 8, 1983 in Millinocket to Ivory-Anna Achorn and Butch Noyes III. He loved all outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and he loved spending time at the family camp on Smith Pond. He loved pipefitting and welding, and was a brother of the local Pipefitter and Plumbers Union #716. He always had to have the first and last word, and was very outspoken. He will be deeply missed and always loved, but his family and friends will find peace in knowing that he is in God’s hands and with loved ones gone before. Michael is survived by his mother and step-father, Ivory Anna and Paul Robbins; his one love in life, his daughter, Kassidy-Jade Noyes (“BabyGirl”); brother, DJ Soucy; two half sisters, Amanda Noyes Mathews and Randi-Jo Robbins; grandparents, Grammy Doris Achorn, Mary E. Rideout and her husand Kirk, and Bernadette Healy; his favorite aunt, Lisa Noyes Caruso, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In addition to his father, Michael was predeceased by grandfathers Jay C. Achorn, Sr., Bud Noyes, and George A. Robbins; and his great grandparents, Alice and Walter Cote, Sr., and Randy and Claira Brown. Friends are invited to visit with the family 6-8 P.M. Monday, November 24 at the Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 25 at Christ the Divine Mercy Parish, St. Martin’s Catholic Church, 19 Colby St., Millinocket, with the Rev. Joel Cyr, pastor, presider. Spring interment will be at the Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Michael may be sent to the Katahdin Area Support Group, P.O. Box 374, Millinocket, ME 04462.
