<p>David D. Hoyland, Sr., 82, of New Castle passed away the morning of November 21, 2014 at his residence. </p><p><br></p><p>Born on September 20, 1932 in New Castle, he was the son of the late George and Pauline Nelson Hoyland. Surviving him at home is his beloved wife, the former Myrna Loy, whom he married in 1952. </p><p><br></p><p>David retired as an executive in the steel and aluminum mill equipment industry. He previously served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War Era. David enjoyed fishing and motorcycling. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his wife, David is survived by his children, David Hoyland Jr. and Debra Burig, both of New Castle; brother, Jay Hoyland and wife Connie of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Chris Burig and Jen Burig; and great-grandchild, Aidan. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Hoyland, and brother, Brian Hoyland. </p><p><br></p><p>There are no calling hours, and services are private. </p>

David D. Hoyland, Sr., 82, of New Castle passed away the morning of November 21, 2014 at his residence.


Born on September 20, 1932 in New Castle, he was the son of the late George and Pauline Nelson Hoyland. Surviving him at home is his beloved wife, the former Myrna Loy, whom he married in 1952.
