COWING, Shirley - At the Stratford General Hospital on Monday November 17, 2014. Shirley Lila Lorraine Cowing (nee Hallock) of Innerkip in her 85th year. Beloved wife of W. Robert “Bob” Cowing for over 61 years. Cherished mother of Dennis (Betty Ann) Cowing, Darlene (Don) Chesney, Roger (Janet) Cowing, Barbara Cowing (late Brian Hall, 2014) and Angela Cowing. Dear grandmother of Lisa Granja (Mike), Jason Cowing (Katie), Brock Chesney, Dean Chesney, Gina Cowing (Darrel Benbow), Derek Cowing, Drew Hall, Dale Hall and great grandmother of Shayna Granja, Devin Granja, Kyle Cowing, Eric Cowing, as well as her step grandchildren Chrissy (Al) Dunham, Step great grandchildren Lacey (Derek) Jenne and Jacob Dunham and her step great great granddaughter Cali Jenne. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Helen (Harold) Stover. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary (nee Stewart) Hallock, her brothers Alfred Hallock (2010), Darrel Hallock (2008) and her grandson Brent Chesney (2013). Shirley was a longtime member of the Innerkip Presbyterian Church. The complete funeral service will be held at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004, on Friday November 21st, 2014 at 11am.
