Ruby White Obituary

Ruby May White, 91, passed away at 1:20pm, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Heartland of Clarksburg. She was born in Enterprise, March 30, 1923 a daughter of the late Ruben J. and Lumma Jane Wine White. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having also been preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph White, Everett White and his wife Bernice, William White and his wife Liela, Fred Burns, three sisters, Opal Wolfe and her husband Frank, Freda Marsh, Joe-Etta Crim and her husband Leslie. She is survived by her niece, Anna Ashmore, Wallace, nephew Richard Ashmore, niece Betty Ashmore, all of whom were closest too her and her caregivers, niece Rebecca Ashmore Miles, who also took care of her at the end of her life, and several other nieces and nephews all of which she loved. She took care of her parents for several years until their death. She then worked as a dishwasher for several area restaurants and worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for the Fairmont General Hospital for several years. She was a member of the Oakwood Road Church of Christ in Fairmont. She always read her bible everyday and loved her church family. Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 11am-1pm, Tuesday, November 18. A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm, Tuesday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise with Brent Gallagher officiating.
