Doris Dean Morrison, 85, of Stephenson, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Winchester Medical Center. Ms. Morrison was born November 26, 1928 in Winchester; the daughter of John Wesley Morrison and Edith Gertrude Webber Morrison. She worked at the Clearbrook Woolen Mill in her early years. She retired from Custer Chiropractic Clinic after 18 years as a receptionist and chiropractic assistant. She was a member of Blue Ridge Grace Brethren Church. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Hazel J. Morrison, Myrtle Gregory, her twin sister, Dorothy J. Fahnestock and two brothers, Asbury Morrison and Russell Morrison. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Darrell G. Taylor officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Doris D.
